Students attending VET before 2013 are not registered at a school and they therefore appear with missing reference of educational place. From 2013 VET-students are registred at their school, and it possible to differ these students from students with a school stay in Denmark.ISCED2011-level short-cycle tertiary education includes an internship period and therefore all education and training programmes on this level is considered as being vocational.The education statistics are based on administrative data from the Study Grant Administration and in this the Ph.D. and doctorate level is not included.

January 1, 2008 Rådgiverskolen, Grønlands Seminarium, Journalistskolen, and the nursing education at Center For Sundhedsuddannelser were merged with Ilisimatusarfik.
January 1, 2011 Fiskeindustriskolen in Maniitsoq was merged with Inuili.
August 1, 2013 Sydgrønlands gymnasium and Grønlands Handelsskole in Qaqortoq were merged with Campus Kujalleq.
Students with a start date after a school merge have been registered at the new school.
