The variable 'Type of offence' is categorized into the three main laws known as the criminal and traffic law and special laws. Criminal law has four groupings into the following categories: Types of offence beginning with the cipher 1 belong to the category of 'Offences against public authority'. Beginning with cipher 2 belongs to sexual offences. Beginning with cipher 3 belongs to crimes against life and limb. Beginning with cipher 4 and 5 is crimes concerning property.
