Revised data for the period 1973-2009.
To present a consistent table, with many details and as few as possible unknown informations, our dataset on livebirth has been revised for the period after 1973
Information on mothers residence and age has been calculated at the tim of birth.
Information that was not reported at birth has been supplemented by information collected at a later point in time For instance. Normally we asume that missing info on mothers place of birth means that the mother was not born in Greenland. In this revision we have sought to minimize the missing data by looking up the missing info at a later point in time.
All addresses has been converted to a localitycode, as defined by www.Asiaq.gl in 2009 In previously published figures a number of livebirths has been counted twice. This has been corrected
Previously we also had mothers and babies without an identification number. This has also been corrected from other of our population registers
In 1990 and in the period 1994-2005 the number of livebirths has been reduced by 71

mothers age

Age has been calculated as the difference in years between the birthdate of the mother and child Mothers under the age of 14 is counted as 14-year old, and mothers over the age of 49 is calculates as 49
